How specific should the answer be? (e.g. if its from a movie is it enough to name the movie, or do you want the name of the character as well?)

Just the movie, tv show, whatever, but you can't go picking things that only you are likely to have seen.

So, a line from an episode of Heroes is okay, one from an episode of a Bulgarian soap isn't.

Does that make my idea any more playable?

Only things springing to mind are either Last Action Hero something to do with the whole golden ticket deal, vague pingings from a vague Quentin Tarantino movie, Titanic had a whole ticket deal at the beginning, but they won them and didn't pay for them. It's unlikely to be from HoBlowers in New Orleans where they accidentally buy a ticket for an all men club but go in anyway, with predictable and hilarious consequences. Don't think there are any political corruption type thrillers where someone paid for someone to be on the presidential ticket.
Dunno , are we allowed clues as to approximate release dates, genre?
