I'm guessing that the idea behind this thread was to hold a mirror up to two hotheads in the hopes of helping them see how silly they are being, ideally so they will stop crapping up the rest of this brand spanking new board. People like discussions, and people like fighting sometimes, but very few people like watching a couple of posters hijacking every thread with their personal vendettas against each other.

It started out as "hey, could you guys take your dumb argument to a different thread?" and progressed to "please, for fuck's sake, take your argument to a different thread; here, I made one for you."
As much as I like both Liberal and Excalibre, I'm pretty goddamn sick of seeing them bring up their imagined grievances with one another in random threads.

Alright, point made and completely misunderstood all around. Time to close this thread.
Liberal came back to me, unhappy about this thread and some other issues which I will not go into here. I have attempted to explain to him and will explain here.
Firstly, I'm pretty much on Liberal's side of the equation. We never had much contact on the dope, but we've had some here and I thought we may become friends. Unfortunately, he's upset with me over this and I understand and apologize.
But as I explained, when two people are persistently scratching and kicking at each other, wrestling across four different rooms (threads), it ceases to become about who started it or who is the bigger ass and starts to become about "why won't those two knock it off?" This thread was intended as a light hearted stab at that point, hoping that one or both of them would get the message.
