    Default Addiction du Jour

Seems there's always something not-too-good-for-me that I indulge in.

    This month: Skittles

I am on a diet, and doing pretty well, but shortly after lunch I seem to need a little sugar boost, and these little round bundles of artificial flavor really hit the spot.

I need to break my bag-a-day habit

Still, I figure a little sugar and very little fat makes them a relatively harmless indulgence.

What are you guiltily narfing on these days?

Pesto. A friend grows for a farmer's market and is going out of town and had a giant pile of basil that was otherwise going to compost. . .
    Barbara's jalapeno/blue cheese cheesy poofs.
    Andy's frozen custard.

I've been eating wasabi peanuts mixed with plain cashews. I've had to "re-up" on the peanuts twice since last Wednesday.

Pretzel rods. My boss bought a huge tub of them at Costco and brought them to the office, and I can't seem to get through the day without a couple. Or ten.

Yeah, a little bit. Doesn't feel bad, though.

Herr's ketchup chips, which I used to love when I lived in NY, and which I came across at Walmart here in Utah last week. Evil addictive ketchup chips available in the Mountain West: proof of Walmart's evil.

Roasted and salted pepitas, available in bulk at Sunflower Market.

Nonfood: Hipstamatic for the iPhone. So fun. Note: does not take appetizing food photos.
