    Nope.
    I haven't owned a watch since I've had a cell phone.

Do stripper uniforms count? Otherwise, no not really. They're never flattering to a woman that I've ever seen.

    I do.

I go to my friend's band practice and play the congas as a reference for the drummer on Sympathy for the Devil and Black Magic Woman. I can't play well, but it helps him and I love hanging with the band.

True. Last night I hosted a get-together with the women I go trekking with and we had an insanely fun evening. Tonight my husband and I are going to the Marine Corps Ball .... nope, not inherently my idea of fun AT ALL, but a cool friend has to go because she's connected to the US Embassy, so she asked a bunch of us to go along. We will do our best imitation of grown-ups and get decently dressed, then go stare at everyone there, laugh, dance and drink.

Half true, I will eat at home tomorrow. But we shall dine on leftovers - no cooking involved unless you count microwaving.

On the contrary; I speak three languages and feel unaccountably smug about it, even though that's really only unusual or remarkable in light of the fact that I'm American.

True. I guess it was only semi-public as it was a shuttle bus between MIT and Wellesley that I think one or both schools operated. But it was very crowded, and I went from standing to a very cozy relationship with the laps of the people in the seat closest to me. The only thing I was under the influence of was pot, so it's a bit surprising.

True but irrelevant. I'm getting old, but I've had a pretty high fiber diet my whole life so no changes are needed. My only age-related lifestyle change is that I'm stricter than I used to be about getting lots of vigorous exercise - it's harder to keep flab at bay as you age.

TNP is having trouble thinking of a good "TNP..." statement.
