Default The Friends Of ivan Thread.

I've been wondering what to do with my Mellophant pals and have decided to host a little threadwarming party.
    Help yourself, gang.

    Now, what shall we discuss?
To sleep, perchance to experience amygdalocortical activation and prefrontal deactivation.

Is that sushi? What a lovely little surprise, ivan!

I'm horrible at parties, so I'd probably bring up religion or start mocking conspiracy theories.

    De-lish, ivan!

Do tell, Zuul! What's the kooky theory of the day?

It would appear that H1N1 is all the work of the Obama administration to frighten people into supporting Universal Health Care. There may also be some sort of effort in pushing vaccines in order to kill or incapacitate political enemies.

We can't eat that - it's too good. Stick it in the corner and we'll take turns guarding it.

What if we just peel off the pretty bits on the outside, eat the good stuff, and then stuff it with paper towels to hide the missing chunks of cake?

I had to come to ivan's go-go. I whipped these up during my lunch break.

    Let's have some music!

That's true I s'pose. Fondant isn't the most pleasant of toppings.

Ooh, Jali, those are definitely too pretty to eat.

Why do people keep saying that?

Please try one Inny-dahling. They're safe. I was fully exonerated after that attempted poisoning conviction. My first husband was just being silly...

No no! I totally believe you. I just think, ah, Zuul should get first dibs. She works hard and all and I think we should reward her.

Ivan, slight chance I might be in Greater Mancunia in Dec if you're on for a real live actual pint. I'd be staying in the Chorlton-cum-Hardy (no really) area, dunno where that is in relation to you.

    Hey Ivan, sorry I'm late.

Yo, wanna go out back and fire one up?

It was awful nice of Glazer to resurrect himself after the first bite to come back for seconds.

    They do look good though.

Hey, Ivan! How's things on your side of the pond? Gettin' mighty cold over here.

I'm the other side of M/cr, but that's no obstacle.

It's not too pleasant over here either, but living in the wettest city in the country, I'm used to that.

    I know why I'm late - who starts a party a 4:46am?

Unless this is an after-after-party, but the spread looks too good for that. Needs more grease and
Something tells me we haven't seen the last of foreshadowing.

It's late. How about some after party fireworks in honor of our host?

Fireworks and police cars - that's how all good parties end.
