Pulp. Most brands have medium pulp and high pulp options, and I'll always go for the latter.

    Normally I prefer low pulp.

If I can get fresh ice cubes - you know the ones that are so cold and dry the crack when they get wet, and stick to any damp surface, then pulpy orange juice is best. The ice cubes get all covered in that pulp, and become fuzzy. And are very tasty and satisfying to crunch while drinking your OJ.

But that is rare enough. Normally I prefer low pulp.

No pulp. OJ with pulp is just like drinking a glass of juice and hangnails.

I don't drink orange juice all that much, but when I do I want it to be as much unlike a real fruit as possible.

This is the truth. Pulp triggers my gag reflex something awful. Blech.

You can have all the juice with sunburn peelings in it you want. More for you and more for me that way.

I voted pulp, but it really doesn't matter to me all that much. If I make it at home, there's very little pulp actually in it. The "pulpy" juice you buy at the store has been pulp augmented, I'm sure of it.

I don't see the Screwdriver option.

If I wanted pulp, I'd eat the orange not drink the juice.

I suspect part of the reason is that more of the orange goes into the juice than when you do it at home. In addition to that industrial juice oranges probably aren't the fancy juicy ones we buy individually in the supermarket.

I like some pulp, but I don't like it when every sip is like having a mouthful of wet bits of paper.

If you want it pulp-free just be honest and drink Sunny D.

And put on a propeller beanie while you're at it, because you're a child.

I don't really drink much OJ but when I do I want to get some fiber.

Is this really that polarizing? I had no idea.

I'll drink it whichever way, but there's one pulp-hater in the house so that's usually what's available here.

Orange juice? No thank you. Just coffee. Or beer. Whatever is closest.

When I was a kid, I refused to drink pulpy OJ because "it has BUGS in it!". I still feel the same way, although I rarely drink OJ any more. If I go to a breakfast buffet thing, I'd drink cranberry or apple juice before OJ.

My folks used to have a beach condo in Florida, and we'd drink OJ by the gallon, and I once got "acid stomach" from drinking too much... and still get it if I drink more than one glass of OJ.

Pulp is the only way to have real orange juice! Without pulp, it's like that thin, watery crap that comes out of juice fountains at hotels' continental breakfasts.
