    Default Fairness and messageboards

A few years ago, I was banned from a messageboard that I had grown quite fond of. It felt like family, the people that were members there, and when I got thrown out (unfairly and possibly illegally) it hurt. It hurt very much.

I am very happy that there are two new messageboards with largely the same population that I can now post to. I trust I won't be banned here; I haven't done anything wrong.

Not that I ever did anything wrong years ago -- but I know several people feel they "know" the situation better than I do. Trust me, you don't.

I am very sad that things have progressed the way they have over there, but also I'm very glad that I have not one, but two new homes to join.

I think that online membership places should be held accountable, and to the same standards that brick & mortar businesses are held to.

I had a paid membership over there, and it was summarily yanked away from me.

    Unfair.

Is this why you're doing the poll thing?

What's your side of the story? Why did you get banned?

For someone who claims not to want drama, you're doing your level best to create it, Stage Manager.
