Default The last thing a dead man saw

Reynaldo Dagsa, a councilman in the Philippines, took a picture of his family moments before being fatally shot. The gunman is still at large.

There's something viscerally chilling about that picture. The look on the killer's face, the unsuspecting family, knowing that this is what the murdered man saw. His last conscious act was to gaze on his family, to capture their faces before they lost him.

I don't know what else to say other than that I hope his family finds peace and the killer comes to justice. I can't imagine what that must have felt like and I hope I nor anyone else has to.
I don't think so, therefore I'm probably not.

I just saw on CBS News that they have the shooter and his accomplice in custody. They I.D.ed them from that pic, so the victim helped catch his murderers.

That's good, at least. That poor family.
