Default Hazelnut oil...what do I do with it?

I was just at the grocery store and noticed that they are carrying a line of gourmet oils...walnut, hazelnut, truffle, grapeseed, etc. The hazelnut was on sale, so we decided to get some and try it out. The problem is, we're not sure what to do with it. There's a recipe on the back of the can for salad dressing, but I'm thinking there has to be something more interesting than that to use it for. Anyone have any ideas?

Chocolate fondue! Use some of the hazelnut oil for thinning semi-sweet chocolate. Instant "nutella" fondue....mmmmmmm... Dip cubes of french bread in it for insta-gasm.
Whatever became of the moment when one first knew about death? There must have been one. A moment. In childhood. When it first occurred to you that you don't go on forever. Must have been shattering. Stamped into one's memory. And yet, I can't remember it.

Oh wow! GREAT idea, WhyNot! I think we'll be trying that before the weekend is out. :-)

We were making something with my hazelnut oil this weekend, and I remembered this thread. The treat du jour was homemade chocolate hazelnut ice cream, and it was awesome.

I think next weekend I'm going to try using it to flavor some truffles. Any other ideas? I feel like I'm on a roll!

Part of me thinks it might be worth trying what it tastes like on popcorn. Maybe with a dusting of cocoa powder?

If you replaced some of the oil in a chocolate cake recipe with hazelnut oil, I think you might achieve nirvana.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.
