    Default How do I word a semi-formal invitation for a morning-after-the-wedding brunch?

Not sure if the mellophanters will be able to help me with this, but I thought I'd give it a shot. My sister is getting married next month, and I'm hosting a brunch for the out-of-town guests. I'm trying to do it up right, so I'm having invitations printed. Here's a link to the invitations I'm getting, to give an idea of what they will look like.

I'm trying to figure out the wording for them. I'm thinking of something like this, but am wondering if it sounds ok or if anyone has any better ideas.

If I go out of town for a Saturday wedding, I usually take the earliest flight home that I can get so that I have time to get ready for work on Monday morning.

I suggest an earlier start time for out of towners.

Your wording sounds good to me. Very formal wording sometimes sound pretentious.

Yeah, I'm afraid of losing some people, too, due to the later time, but I could only get 10:00 or 12:00 at the restaurant, and 10:00 was voted down as being too early.

Thanks for the feedback, though, Jali! I appreciate it.
