Well, it looks as though ex-England defender Sol Cambell has walked from his contract with Notts County after playing just one game of 90 minutes for the club.
He was signed on a very big contract with the idea of improving the club overall, which looks as though it hasn't worked.
Have any other high profile sports contracts been broken after such a short space of time?

Well, Bill Belichick, an American football coach who's destined for the Hall of Fame, famously resigned his position as head coach for the New York Jets during the press conference to announce he was taking the job. Since he'd been offered the job the previous afternoon, that's less than 24 hours of time, and absolutely 0 amount of time actually doing the job.
