Default Should I read The Iron Heel?

    Anyone read this?

I found a copy on a shelf in my house last night (where the hell did this come from?) and read through the prologue.

You'd think a Jack London novel would get more play, but I never hear a thing about this book.

Unless someone stops me, I'm digging in...

I never heard of it. Is it "Heal" or "Heel"? Ah -- Wikipedia says it's The Iron Heel, and an early dystopian novel, as one might guess.

Well, I'd be interested to hear your take on it. I knew London wrote some futuristic, proto-sf short stories, but I didn't know about this novel.

Oh crap. Quick, I need a mod to fix my spelling errors.

Well, I'm in too far to stop now.

It's pretty long, but London is always engaging.
