Default Desert Island TV-Series Box Set: Pick One

Welcome to your own special sandy hell.

You're gone forever, but have a TV and DVD player!

Ah, but you can only bring the complete run of one of the following shows.

    Which do you bring?
"I won't kill for money, and I won't marry for it. Other than that, I'm open to just about anything."

I chose Quincy. Jack Klugman is a man's man.

Wow. I think I would pick whichever series had the DVDs that promised to break into the sharpest shards.

ETA: I picked Small Wonder. If you've got to go bad, go big.

Jesus, that is horrific. You are a sadistic man, Oliveloaf.

I went with Suddenly Susan. Brooke Shields is hot. I'll just try to ignore everything else.

She may be hot (I would kinda argue otherwise) but she is a terrible actor. Oh God! Isn't Kathy Griffin on this show?

God, I think you're right. Only by process of elimination, though. Maybe Facts of Life because it ran a long time, so at least you have a lot of different episodes to make fun of? I don't know...this one is tough.

I voted Benson, it was watchable at least for a few years and has lots of episodes I never seen.

Quincy would drive me insane, he was so earnest and self-righteous, if only he had the sunglasses move, he could be one of the most annoying characters ever.

Rhoda is tempting, it was an OK show.

Benson was a good cast is desperate need of a script. In the end, it was pretty damn awful.

I went with Facts of Life because I figured it had a ton of episodes and I'd get all the special episodes where they went to Paris and Australia...classics!! Plus, the show changed so freaking much it would be like getting at least 3 shows in one. And you'd get all the crossover shows with Different Strokes!
This tastes like the circus smells.

    Isn't Brenda now Marge Simpson?

Yes, she was one of the regulars on the old Tracey Ullman show on Fox that launched the Simpsons. A happy coincidence for her as far as provided a way more than secure future. She also played Tony's sister on Taxi that took up with Jim for a bit.

The votes are very even and scattered so far, like the shotgun blast these series so richly deserve...

I was going to go with The Facts of Life at first, because I remember at least enjoying that as a child, but Zuul makes an excellent point. Brooke Shields is very nice to look at. And look, there's still a mute button, right? Problem solved.

Also, one of my deep, dark secret shames is that I kinda like Kathy Griffin.
