Default Should math be taught in schools?

the response of some Miss USA contestants to this important question of our times. After all, fluxions are only a theory.

    (or right here)

The is much longer but more sad than funny.

The embedded video is a joke. At least, that's what I'm telling myself to save my sanity. The linked video, I'm honestly surprised and relieved. That was a high "yes" rate, even though a lot of it carried caveats I didn't like (teach both sides! make it an elective!)
Something tells me we haven't seen the last of foreshadowing.

The original video is still alarming, but yes ... the posted version does come across as a joke where they substituted "math" for "evolution" to make a point. And it rather nicely does make that point, to those of us already in the "evolution is a theory like gravity is a theory, you mouth-breather" camp.

It won't convert anyone who has not already pitched a tent there, alas.

Yeah, the "math" one is a parody. There's been a discussion going on at Language Log (still pretty depressing, people who are smart enough to find a linguistics blog, but think there's "overwhelming evidence" for creationism).
