Default Let's Prevent Distraction In Our Students By Banning Short Skirts!

Except for, you know, cheerleader's skirts on game days.

There's really not much more to say about this. Either your male students are so testosterone poisoned that they can't think or learn when there are short skirts around. Or they can deal with normal displays of pulchritude.

If it's a problem, it's going to be a problem, no matter how much school spirit might be involved. If it's not a problem on game days, why the Hell is it a problem other days? As for claims of looking professional, I don't understand how cheerleader's skirts are suddenly the sort of professional that the school should be fostering.

    Fucking idiots.

That's awesome. It's as if they're purposefully trying to implement the high school caste system as seen on film and television. Well done!
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

As far as I know, most school cheerleading squads get warm up suits. You want them to "show spirit" on game days? Put them in those. This is an issue that drove me up the wall when I was in high school.
So, I'll whisper in the dark, hoping you'll hear me.

If you want teenage boys to not be thinking about sex constantly you're going to have to chemically castrate them.

Which is probably something some family values groups would support.

Oh forget these silly bans and just make the kids wear school uniforms. Then no one can complain about Cheerleaders in uniforms and etc.

You want to avoid questionable garb and too much competition over "nice clothes", use uniforms. Otherwise you have school officials ensuring skirts are long enough or T-Shirts are too offensive and various interpretation of said.
