The favourite character discussion, as started in the chat:

A quick poll, now be honest, who has a friend/relative/coworker who reminds you of Coach Z? I used to have a classmate like him - creepy, creepy bastard.

As I was saying in chat...

I used to work with one of the creators. Matt is a really great guy. I remember with envy the day he quit, around the time that the merch' biz for the site that he and his brother had been running in their spare time (both the site and the merch) became more lucrative than working for The Man.

I'm still so proud. *sniff* And the longevity of their reign has got to be the stuff of interwebs legend by now.

I loves me some Strong Bad. I'm way behind on his e-mails, but I still think the one where his compy gets infected with the virus(es) is one of the funniest bits I've ever seen on teh interwebs. And of course, like any reasonable and rational person, I have "Trogdor" and Strong Bad's techno song on my iPod.

Burninating the peasants. Burninating all the people, and their thatched roof cottages! TROGDOOOORRRRR!

Sweetie and I attended a medieval themed party once, and painted up a Trogdor herald banner to carry in front of us. Made up a plywood Trogdor complete with propane torch and burninated a thatched roof cottage. Good times.

I loves me some The Cheat. With his lightswitch disco raves and not being dead, the cheat is my favorite character hands down.

I have the Strogbad Sings album on my Ipod and am always delighted when a song show up on shuffle.

Even worse than Coach Z, one of my father's friends reminds me of Senor Cardgage. :shudder:

That said, Senor Cardgage Mortgage makes me laugh every single time.

Thought it seems lately that their work has suffered in quality, especially since they started work on SBCGFAP (on PC and Wii!)

There is a Strongbad Sings album and I was not informed?

My favourite lines are still, "Did you get a virus?"
    "No."
    "Did you get 300,000 viruses?"
    "Yes. Very yes."

We use "very yes" quite often now.

I love Homsar and 1936 Homestar.

Also, how has no one yet mentioned the greatness of Teen Girl Squad? My group of friends did a lot of quoting "Arrow'd!" and "Children!" at people in 2002.
Taumpy: Oh noes, you aren't a super powerful wave of destruction.
Panther Squad: It's true! My scythe does not shorn the biomonsters in great swaths like it ought!

I forgot all about teen girl squad! "Arrow'd" still pops up in conversation every now and again, so does "The Ugly One!"

"Arrow'd!" was still cropping up at my D&D games as late as 2007. And wow, that sentence I just typed has layers of dorkiness to it. That is remarkable.

The first homestarrunner experience of a domer has never been documented. We have managed to secure a secluded place in the bushes from which to capture this historic event, live. Let's watch quietly so as not to disturb the natural progression...

Sure looks like it warrants some investigation. I'm not much for games, but toons I do like. When I get more time, I will check it out further. I hope it's not addicting!

Recently I've been getting back into some of the older toons and sbemails. Not too much older, around the sbemail 170-180 mark. These were good times. The introduction of New Paper. The DNA evidence saga. Classic sbemails like hygiene, which is difficult to say whether it is providing social commentary or out-right mocking those who do.

    Good times.

I have to say I quite liked this one, though it'll take a while for the Compé to grow on me. I liked the hot female Lappy.

I reckon this one is hilarious. Too many funny parts to mention, but I particular like
