Oh man, I love taking these pictures. Unfortunately, most of them were in my last phone, which drowned. I'll see if I can dig some up on my computer, though.

WTF did I just say?
I don't have a picture but we drove by a place a couple of summers ago that had a neon sign that said:
"Ho made pies"
And the church at the end of the street we used to live on had a sign stuck right in front of the graveyard that said:
"More parking above."
I always wanted to send that one to Jay Leno.
Well, I've give this thread just one bump.

Damn! I hope I find the USB cable for my phone and get the time to take some of these pictures around San Diego. This is a really cool thread idea. Really, if I had the energy to get out of bed and shoot....well, I'd be studying for finals. But if I also had the time, I'd be loading this thread up with pages and pages of this stuff! I can't get enough of stuff like this, and Southern California is so rich with it!

Took this pic when I was 19. My b/f and I were driving out to Puskus Lake when we spotted this van on the side of the road. The back of the photo says "Bad" Bus 8/79.

This is a mural on a building somewhere in Mississippi. I was working on a bridge scour project, where we went out to measure bridges and take soil samples. I spotted this and took a snapshot. I don't remember what town it was.

These were the cutest things! My daughter and I were on the way to Memphis with a friend of hers and the friend's Mom. We passed this motorcyclist who had these boy - and -girl sock monkeys on the back of his bike. The little helmets were knitted on. Hee!

I was wondering what kind of helmet was knitted onto the rider's head before I scrolled down.![]()
