Really? Cars need to average 55 mpg by 2025? Despite the fact that safety and convenience features have added 1000 pounds to the average vehicle in the last decade? How about asking consumers to drive a little less, drive slower, and consider taking public transportation once in a while? Why is it always the machine at fault, and never the operator?
