Default Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream is not all natural

Ben And Jerry's Ice cream is going to have to drop the "all-natural" part os its description, because .... well.... it isn't. Looks like Corn syrup and partially hydrogenated soya bean oil really don't fit the bill of what is supposed to be an all-natural ice cream.

What happened to them in the quest for profits, or was that from selling out to Unilever?

I never much liked Ben and Jerry's anyway, always preferred Haagen-Dazs instead.

Opposite, I always found something off about Haagen-Dazs and like B&J's. I actually like Edy's and Breyer's though just as much and I don't tend to buy the pint size ice creams at all.

They aren't dropping it completely, only on some of the flavors. And "natural" isn't actually legally relevant in this case, the FDA doesn't have any definition for "natural" and the Dept of Agriculture only defines it in terms of meat/poultry. They're still the company that uses organic ingredients, is committed to going Fair Trade-only in the next few years, and makes Karamel Sutra. I'd rather eat B&J than Haagen-Dasz, with their fake pseudo-Scandinavian name. (Although HD sorbets are awesome.)

To Artifex's point, this is a voluntary action on the part of Ben & Jerry's.

I am sticking by my Ben & Jerry are cool position.

Yeah, Ben & Jerry's is pretty much awesome, and the whole 'all natural' thing is a meaningless buzzword anyways.
