    Default Music Player Shuffle Game

Because Panther Squad has been bugging me to post one of these, here is a little game involving the music player of your choice (or iPod/MP3 player).

What you do is you for each of these questions whatever the next song that comes up in shuffle is, that's the "answer" to that question. This particular one was not written by me, however it was edited to remove the more repetitive and otherwise annoying questions.

The next time you stand up in front of a group of people, you'll say:
    Song: Mandoyi
    Artist: Kekele
Comment: For some reason, I will begin to sing in Lingala. Neat!

    Your message to the world:
    Song: Kashmir
    Artist: Led Zeppelin
    Comment: ..is that I'm stoned.

    Your deepest secret:
    Song: Eien
    Artist: Do As Infinity
Comment: And another one in a language I don't understand, except I think the title means some variation of "love". I'm not sure if I should interpret that as a positive or a negative.

    On your deathbed, you'll whisper:
    Song: Seven Island Suite
    Artist: Gordon Lightfoot
Comment: "There's a new wave that is breaking in the wake of a passing ship/Every nation's gonna be shaken, put it together, don't let it slip"

Your friends say behind your back:
    Song: Blue Sky
    Artist: a-ha
Comment: that I'm a loser that can't find a date?

    Right now, your feelings are:
    Song: Get Down Saturday Night
    Artist: Oliver Cheatham
    Comment: Rock on.

What will be a big challenge in life for you?
Track: She's Out of My Life
    Artist: Michael Jackson
Comment: I guess my friends are right.

What do people assume when they first look at you?
    Track: Absolute
    Artist: Scritti Politti
Comment: Which completely contradicts the last one.

    How will you die?
Song: Who Do You Want to Be?
    Artist: Oingo Boingo
Comment: ...my secret aspiration for fame will be my end?

..okay, there was more, but this gets tedious after too long. Are you happy, Panther?
Taumpy: Oh noes, you aren't a super powerful wave of destruction.
Panther Squad: It's true! My scythe does not shorn the biomonsters in great swaths like it ought!

The next time you stand up in front of a group of people, you'll say:
    Song: A Little More Love
    Artist: Olivia Newton-John
Comment: I like to imagine that, with this song, I'd be ins ome sort of sitcom-esque event where I'm supposed to be auctioned off and I totally underestimate my own desirability. But thanks to my friends and conveniently timed life events of my friends, I learn an important lesson and show up on stage lip-synching to this song in a sequined caftan min-dress with extended sleeves. Which the dress probably would have happened ANYWAY, but the country hair probably would not have. Also, Tom, imagine me trying to hit those high notes with a mic. That's my gift to you after mentioning the you-know-who thing! (She's...OUT! of my liiiiife)

    Your message to the world:
    Song: Bettye Lavette
Artist: All the Black and White Children
Comment: Hopefully this will accompany my telethon debut!

    Your deepest secret:
    Song: Blossom Dearie
Artist: Bang Goes the Drum (You're in Love)
Comment: This is probably the perfect song for this. I keep my ridiculously romantic side secret. Tom has an astrology book that basically said the way I think about love is utterly different than anything else I think about life or whatever. But it's true, I fall for someone so infrequently and it just slams me in the face and I just become a mess.

    On your deathbed, you'll whisper:
    Song: DJ Mike Q
    Artist: Diva Work
Comment: Not much words, but lots of beat and repetitive bragging in synthed high notes. So, yeah, I'll totally whisper this shit. "Are you still with us?" "I'mma/I'mma a D-Diva." WERK!

Your friends say behind your back:
Song: Diana Ross & The Supremes
    Artist: When the Lovelight Shines
Comment: Perfect choice, I like to believe all my friends are in love with me and talk about it constantly when I'm not around.

    Right now, your feelings are:
    Song: Thunderheist
    Artist: Jerrrrkit
    Comment: ...no comment.

What will be a big challenge in life for you?
    Track: Missy Elliot
    Artist: All in my Grill
Comment: You know, I was a big fan of Da Real World. Also, why are you all in my grill? Can you play my bills? This is totally the precursor anthem to her amazing work with 702. Also a group's hits who speak to me. Because I will flash my nails in your eyes if you try talking junk to me. Most importantly, this song speaks to my best implement against life's problems: neck weaving, honay.

What do people assume when they first look at you?
    Track: P!nk
Artist: Don't Let Me Get Me
Comment: Yup, this probably fits. People usually think I'm conflicted or something. Turns out I'm not! Hate on, bitches.

    How will you die?
    Song: Eve John
    Artist: Mutual Physical Attraction
Comment: ...best reason to die evar.

The next time you stand up in front of a group of people, you'll say:
    Song: Desperado
    Artist: Clint Black
Comment: It takes one to know one?

    Your message to the world:
    Song: Step By Step
    Artist: The Alan Parsons Project
Comment: Yanno, people in recovery for drug addiction, mental illness, or abuse can be the most annoying with well-meant advice for the world.

    Your deepest secret:
    Song: Hedger and Ditcher
    Artist: Silly Sisters
Comment: I'm a woman, who has no suitors? I didn't realize either of those were true.

    On your deathbed, you'll whisper:
    Song: Dance of the Curse
    Artist: Vision of Escaflowne
Comment: I wasn't aware I was going to start whispering instrumentals on my deathbed, but considering the tone of this piece, and the forboding through it, it's appropriate.

Your friends say behind your back:
Song: Make Way for the Lady
    Artist: Gordon Lightfoot
Comment: I'm not sure whether they're saying I'm good at making lemonade out of lemons, or if I'm a leman.

    Right now, your feelings are:
    Song: Upward Over the Mountain
    Artist: Iron and Wine
Comment: Hope through adversity. Hmm. Not bad.

What will be a big challenge in life for you?
    Track: Corey's Coming
    Artist: Harry Chapin
Comment: er... the big love of my life is an imaginary woman, who will latch onto someone else once I die? Contagious insanity!

What do people assume when they first look at you?
    Track: Crossroads
    Artist: Don McLean
Comment: Wow. I didn't realize it was so obvious.

    How will you die?
Song: Laydies Bryng Your Flowers Faire
    Artist: Heather Alexander
Comment: That really sucks. I know that everyone jokes about how wonderful it would be to die 'in the saddle,' but I wouldn't wish that trauma on anyone I love.

Wow, this is much better than the last time I did one of these when I just got insulted left, and right, by my iTunes.

The next time you stand up in front of a group of people, you'll say:
Song: You've Got To Hide Your Love Away
    Artist: Beatles
Comment: Really, if you love having sex with sheep, you need to keep that to yourself.

    Your message to the world:
    Song: What Are You Doing
    Artist: Beatles
Comment: Seriously, could we stop with the wars and the pollution and the unabated population growth and the suppression of human rights already. It is the 21st century, isn’t it time to grow up?

    Your deepest secret:
Song: Where Were You Last Night
    Artist: Traveling Wilburys
Comment: At a board meeting for a small environment group and the secret was, I wonder to myself if we actually make any difference at all.

    On your deathbed, you'll whisper:
    Song: Hoedown
    Artist: ELP
Comment: It will be enigmatic like “Rosebud”. I like that.

Your friends say behind your back:
    Song: Keep The Customer Satisfied
    Artist: Simon & Garfunkel
Comment: My friends appear to be odd.

    Right now, your feelings are:
    Song: Homeward Bound
    Artist: Simon & Garfunkel
Comment: Pretty typical, most of the day I am at work, I am thinking about going home. Heck when I was in the Navy I use to hum this and “Leaving on a Jet Plane” as I was counting down the days until I could go home.

What will be a big challenge in life for you?

    Track: Immigrant Song
    Artist: Led Zeppelin
Comment: Training my cat Dot to wear a Viking hat and hold a sword and sit on the front of the Garvey will indeed be a challenge.

What do people assume when they first look at you?
    Track: He Was My Brother
    Artist: Simon & Garfunkel
Comment: Apparently I look like people’s brothers.

    How will you die?
    Song: Maxwell's Silver Hammer
    Artist: Beatles
Comment: Murdered by a madman. Man that’s tough.

Note: My mix of songs at work is skewed as I have nearly every Beatles and S&G song loaded and so it works out to over half of what I have loaded.
