I found that! Well, actually, one of the girls I used to work with sent it to a guy I work with, and he looked at me like I was insane when I said I hadn't seen it yet. And, now that I've seen it, I have to say it looks slightly epic. Like, I'm not sure how everything they've alluded to in the trailer is going to fit into a two hour movie. That's a whole lot of stuff going on!
Hot guy, bad acting, questionable plot, standard dialogue, and chock full of fantasy-inspired action plus car explosions?
I already knew I'd be sitting in a theatre beside my aunt seeing this before the trailer aired. Now I see they're advertising gratuitous shirtless scenes. +1 thor!

First shallow thought: damn, Thor is hot.
Second shallow thought: damn, Loki is hot, too.
Okay, now to more substantial thoughts. The special effects look good and the whole plot seems to be laid out for us in those five minutes. It looks like comic book history is being disregarded a bit. Oh, sure, he's a Norse god, but it looks like he hits Earth with his memories fully intact and completely cognizant of what's happened to him. Maybe that's just the editing. It might be better to cut out his double life, though, simply because that would be extra padding in what appears to already be a bloated plot.
Their treatment of Loki seemed to be relatively true to the comics, even including the bit where he is Thor's adopted brother.
I liked the reference to Tony Stark, once again tying the movies all together. It makes a lot of sense in context, too. I hate when movies have people forgetting about the crazy, world-changing stuff that happens and all of the Avenger movies are supposed to be taking place in the same universe.
The dialogue sounds a bit stilted but the thing that bugged me the most was the accents. English accents being the default for any non-American accent, anywhere in the world (or Asgard, apparently) drives me up the wall.
I'll be watching this in the theatre. I will also probably be wishing Thor and Loki would make out. (Don't judge me!)
They're adopted brothers and Loki is his enemy. That makes it okay.
With all that negative emotion running between them...something must have caused all that friction.
Like, jealousy? Or...friction?

Brannagh's directing, so there's no way that this can be a turd of a film. It might not be great, but it'll still be watchable, which is more than can be said of some comic book movies.

Yeah, Brannagh has been around long enough that I don't think he's going to suddenly forget how to be entertaining.
Oooooh... my kinda movie! Wish it were coming out sooner tho.
And yeah... Thor is SMOKIN' hot! >insert drooling smilie here<
