'Subscribe to Thread' - why?

If you subscribe to a thread, you'll receive email notifications of new posts. This is a handy feature if the board is especially busy, making it difficult to find the thread again, or if you don't read the board frequently and might miss replies.

It's really not a feature you need to use much on a board this small, but it can be handy for keeping track of a conversation.

You can also turn off the email notifications, set it to subscribe you to threads automatically when you post in them, and then view your subscriptions (Quick links > Subscribed threads). That makes it easy to see if any threads you've posted in have new posts.
