I've been playing with this for a while, but it finally got expanded into something more than just some randomly generated text. Behold, the romance novel plot generator.

It does standard straight romance:

Not sure how to interpret the last sentences. "The obstacle to their romance that they must overcome is unfaithful." Okay, let's postulate a guy named Ted. Ted is the obstacle to their romance and he is unfaithful. Now it makes sense. Huh, it's got me fleshing out (heh) the plot already. I guess it works!

Although I'm going to find it hard to explain why a Park Ranger wears high-powered business suits. The better to intimidate the poachers, perhaps.

Okay, they meet in a craft store obviously, since that's their common interest. Joseph is a business owner, so I bet he owns the craft store, but he has a financial problem. Oooh, he must be the one who owes money. Joshua must be a wealthy artist if he's running around in power suits, so maybe he offers to help Joe, but then someone slanders them by saying that Joe is using Josh for money and only when the two guys face down their own fears and pasts can they finally realize that they are truly meant to be.

That...came together eerily well, actually. Huh!
