chat bullies

All I've got to say is, "what the fuck is wrong with you three?" These comments show three assholes ganging up on Jimbo to try to give him the impression that he and featherlou aren't liked by the entire board.

Quote:

Excalibur Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:56 am Why do you [(jimbo and featherlou)] want to force your presence on a community of people that doesn't like you, anyway?

Myrnalene Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:56 am he's not wrong that he's the only one who has bit his tongue - we all have

Sleeps w/Butterflies Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:55 am Personal responsibility [img]

Excalibur Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:52 am It's all just a crazy coincidence, Jimbo. You guys both act like dicks all the time to everyone for no reason but it's all just a crazy coincidence that no one wants you around.

Speak for yourselves, you stupid fuckers. If you had an actual argument, you wouldn't be falling back on this "nobody likes you" high school clique bullshit. And guess what? People do like Jimbo and featherlou. Why don't you take a poll to find out whether the board would rather see you three or them take a hike? I think we know how that would go.

I don't know why you nasty little bitches are tolerated for one second.

Fuck off, cunt. I don't know which part of it you think makes you look like less of a bitch (hint: none of it), but if you want to make that case, you're going to have to make it for yourself.

Re: chat bullies

Are you going to upload it?

ETA: Like Sleeps, I did not say anything about people not liking them. Why are you lying in your OP?

Re: chat bullies

HOC, for the record I didn't say anything about anyone not liking those two. I only speak for myself. Personally, I just got tired of taking Featherlou's bitchy comments directed at me. The picture I posted was to show Jimbo exactly how Feather used to do to me. She'd post a picture of some blonde looking totally stupid doing something and say "Look guys, it's Sleeps!" even though I *never* did that to her. I told her on more than one occasion that her comments were hurtful (as did a few others) and instead of apologizing she would defend her behavior. So I posted a picture of a fat woman and said "Personal Responsibility" I'd have to post at least 10 more to even begin to catch up with her.

Why is it okay for one and not others?

Re: chat bullies

I left the window open while I went to grab Coke, so I got the whole thing. Read from bottom to top:

Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:09 pm » curvy girls love doggie woo soo
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:09 pm » But Exy, that doesn't matter. If he likes them just a little curvy or GREAT BIG. There's something for everyone and I really honestly do think that's fine!
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:09 pm » Sara Ramirez? Or Camryn Manheim?
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:09 pm » all kinds
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » :)
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » but to get pissy when for ONCE someone does the same to her? and not admit the things she says are wrong?
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » Okay but what kind of curvy?
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » Dog, that's awesome. Everyone likes different things
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » I thought we were all joking around but more and more it became clear to me that she meant every bit of it and that made me sad because I liked her at one point
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » Exy, even if she said YES I'M SAYING BITCHY THINGS I LIKE IT I WON'T STOP AHAHAH I would have more respect
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:08 pm » I like curvy girls
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:07 pm » I'm not positive I succeeded, but when Otakuloki called me out on being casually fatphobic, I really made an effort to do better.
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:07 pm » Actually, curvy stomachs on someone otherwise fit are usually a sign of polycystic ovary syndrome--something that indicates too much testosterone UH OH
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:07 pm » exy, I laughed it off and ignored it so many times when she did it
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:07 pm » I cannot relate to that at all. I try hard to shape up when people say things to me.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:06 pm » hahah, yes. Real women have curvy stomachs and stuff I was told
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:06 pm » I'm just so floored by the attitude of someone who has made these comments dozens of times, has gotten called on them relatively gently a bunch of times, but won't stop, and then flies into a multi-day rage, enlisting her husband to rage for her, the first time someone says the same thing about her.
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:06 pm » Raeg?
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:06 pm » You only said that because you're jealous of womanly curves. Don't deny it, you Nazi
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:06 pm » .
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:06 pm » Exy told him that nobody likes his wife, Myrna called her a cunt but I am lucky enough to get the retards RAEG because I said his wife was fat, and she is!
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:05 pm » Y'all. I thought fat people were supposed to be jolly
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:05 pm » I mean, way to not only challenge a woman's sexual attractiveness BUT also her gender identity. Kudos
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:05 pm » I've seen photographic proof!
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:05 pm » Yes, I'm so bitter that I have to disparage any woman who is even a tiny bit attractive and call them stupid.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:04 pm » exactly, Nerbs
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:04 pm » Sleeps's breasts are actually nicely proportionate to her body.
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:04 pm » You know...I've got to say, that 12 year old boy stuff really is shitty. A woman who doesn't have large breasts has even LESS control over that than a woman of weight
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:04 pm » No prob, Jim
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » Poor Sleeps wouldn't be so angry if she weren't built like a 12 year old boy.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » regards!
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » go give her a hoho from me
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » 'Kay, now I'm done. Fuck you all. :D
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » oh sure I don't Jimbo, sure I don't
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » It's a beer, vison. :)
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » Oh Sleeps, you really have no clue
vison « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » The dip is like ranch dressing only better, it's got a bite to it.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » I'm not eating myself into an early death while complaining that anyone who is smaller than me is built like a boy
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:03 pm » (ps sorry Nrblex)
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » Sorry to upset your bitch session
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » (ps sorry vison)
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » The attempts to create an attitude of being above it all have been remarkably ineffective, mostly because you just can't restrain yourself from trying to argue your way out of the embarrassmernt you have created for yourself.
vison « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » Is it curable, dogbutler?
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » I'll leave when I'm ready, Myrna
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » Jimbo, I take care of myself in this world and don't need to sponge off some jerkoff and spout about personal responsibility so I think I do have a clue
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » he keeps saying he's leaving but he's not
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » What kind of dip? I have some cheese and crackers
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » you should be mad, you're married to a woman who can't take responsibility for her actions so she as to send her flunkie in here to play games
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:02 pm » You have no clue, honey, and that's very typical for you
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » vision, I got a case of Yuengling
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » It's pretty clear that this is you mad, Jimbo, yes.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » like I give a shit if you're mad
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » I have Cherry Coke and brandy. Mmmmmm
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » hi vision, we should be wrapping up I hope
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » Ha! Ha! ha! Ha! Ha! You think this is me mad, Sleeps?
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » No prob, myrna
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » ask her how many times she posted pics of women and said they were me
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » t
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » s
vison « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » I arrive bearing a tray of raw veggies and some good dip, and besides, a couple of bottles of Arbour Mist.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » o
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » l
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » Oh, and go fuck yourself, Myrna. :)
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » you
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » jimbo, you fathead
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:01 pm » if she's that ashamed of being fat, do something about it
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » awww jimbo, you're mad because I posted a pic of a fat woman
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » (ps sorry dogs)
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » Exy, dance, puppet, dance!
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » same to lou, asshole
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » Exy, you're asking a lot
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » Hi Myrna
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » Did I mention go fuck yourself, Sleeps?
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » (ps, can he not tell the difference between "rationalization" and "retaliation"?)
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » hi doggie
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » nice job being a hypocrite!
dogbutler « Tue Aug 18, 2009 10:00 pm » Anyways....
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:59 pm » Incidentally, Nrblex is right -- the Domebo community is pretty much just this happy little group -- nice job chasing everyone else out!
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:59 pm » PS: When she posted that photo of a blonde girl "reading" a book upside down, and said it was Sleeps, that was exceptionally rich, because Sleeps is very, very obviously more intelligent.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:59 pm » yes, he doesn't have that much to spread around
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:59 pm » when come back bring point
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:58 pm » I'll save some crazy retaliation for tomorrow. I don't want to waste it all in one sitting
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:58 pm » Come on, you have to have SOME kind of crazy rationalization constructed in your defective little head. SOMETHING. Right?
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » I figure I need to post at least 10 more of these before I catch up with her doing it to me
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » have fun with your wife, who is so miserable she cannot abide the sight of a normal woman
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » I had no point, Myrna. I just figured if you're gonna yap about us, you might as well have a target
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » Hey, at least come up with your explanation why Featherlou's comments about women with nice tits are okay, but other people's comments about Featherlou's weight are BEYOND THE PALE.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » should I not post pics of fat women?
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » At this point, the community on this board consists of Jimbo, his wife, us, and the mods...
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » hahahaha jimbo what's wrong?
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » It's too bad you can't come up with ANY response to this, Jimbo.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » Go fuck yourself, Sleeps
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:57 pm » what WERE your points?
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » Why do you want to force your presence on a community of people that doesn't like you, anyway?
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » how many points have you made, jimbo?
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » You have excellent endurance
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » pointlessly because it's with you, hypocrite :)
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » How the fuck much do you feel entitled to?
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm »
Quote:
You can't even explain why it's okay for Featherlou to talk shit about pretty women but it's a great injustice for people to talk about her looks.
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » Yeah, we've all ignored a lot of you and featherlou's shit just to get along.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » Well, this has been fun! I'm pretty surprised at just how long you people will argue pointlessly. :)
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:56 pm » he's not wrong that he's the only one who has bit his tongue - we all have
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » Personal responsibility Image
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » You can't even explain why it's okay for Featherlou to talk shit about pretty women but it's a great injustice for people to talk about her looks.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » And you're not entitled to speak for the entire board, Exy
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » You can't even respond.
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » Jimbo, only in the crazily self-centered universe you and your wife have constructed would this be embarrassing to me.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » Exy is making points and you are just going WAHH WAHHH WAHHH
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:55 pm » jimbo, no
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:54 pm » No matter how much you think otherwise, you're not entitled to be treated better than you treat others, Jimbo.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:54 pm » Frankly, Exy, you're embarrasing yourself, you smug little piece of shit
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:54 pm » But you know what? I've run out. Shape the fuck up, or else stop fucking complaining.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:54 pm » Myrna, you are never going to get to him. Featherlou is allowed to be a hypocrite, nobody else
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:54 pm » ask Zuul how it feels - but wait you shouldn't have to because Zuul already said but your cunt wife kept running her mouth anyway
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:54 pm » Frankly, I don't think I'm the only one here who has exercised a lot of pretty deliberate tolerance for you and your wife, just assuming that you're not really capable of anything better.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » No, it most certainly isn't the SDMB -- after all, youre' not banned yet, Exy
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » jimbo, no one likes to hear that they are not real women because they are not fucking fat
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » And we don't have the fluffy atmosphere of enabling that she counts on.
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » that would answer that!
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » You jumped on Sleepy's ass
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » maybe you could do a poll--who likes her?
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » It's not the SDMB. There's not so many people around that people like you and your bitchy wife and Liberal and all those others can just sort of get lost in the crowd.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » No we act like dicks to the three of you, not to everyone
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:53 pm » only lou says her shit ALL THE TIME
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » You are pissed because Sleeps said she was fat, which is a direct parallel to the shit lou says
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » No, but the fact that no one here likes her means that, Jimbo.
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » It's all just a crazy coincidence, Jimbo. You guys both act like dicks all the time to everyone for no reason but it's all just a crazy coincidence that no one wants you around.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » Exy, you self-consumed douche, just because you don't like someone doesn't mean everyone doesn't like her
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » wow I am so glad I have booze for this
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » you want to take everyone to task for their behavior and ignore her part in it
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » you want to talk about everyone else BUT her
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:52 pm » no, you want to talk about our shit and not her shit
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » You're always talking about her, you're always defending her, whatever she does.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » that's the problem Jimbo
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » It's all just a crazy coincidence.
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » Why are you guys so hung up on my wife? I'm still not talking about her you morons!
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » You guys being complete bitches has nothing to do with why no one likes you.
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » It's all our fault she's a complete bitch all the time.
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:51 pm » Just sit here and rage because everyone else doesn't treat your wife better than she treats us.
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » but the minute she gets back an OUNCE he goes off
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » Take zero responsibility for your own actions, Jimbo. Encourage your wife to take zero responsibility for hers.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » In fact, jimbo is inclined to not respond precisely because you wish it
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » Jimbo - I will ask you again - why is it ok for lou to be a bitch and not Sleeps
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » his wife can sling her shit far and wide and nobody can say anything to her
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » Just lash out lash out lash out
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » Jimbo doesn't feel compelled to anything just because you wish it
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » Myrna, he's not going to address anything
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » his precious thread? ha you're a riot Jimbo
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:50 pm » jimbo is still not addressing any of our points, big fuckign shock
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:49 pm » And look, Exy doesn't need his precious thread to be a total dickhead!
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:49 pm » I took her shit over and over again because she always would say "Just kidding Sleeps!" and never said anything back to her but enough was enough
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:49 pm » Exy, exactly
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:49 pm » Seriously. Sometimes bad shit happens. You don't go play superior over that...geez
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » And look -- they literally can't understand the idea that Featherlou ought to hold herself up to the standards of behavior she expects from others.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » ain't it though?
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » That's fucked up
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » haha
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » she "starved" to pay her bills
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » It's still purely outrageous to Featherlou and Jimbo that Sleeps would ever dare to say something mean about Featherlou's looks.
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:48 pm » and lou used it as an excuse to get all superior because that had never happened to her
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » It doesn't matter how much his wife has said (and specifically how many times she's insulted Sleeps for being prettier -- like the photo of the cute blonde with the book).
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » oh, binks told about how her car was repo'd when she was a 17 yr old and her mom was dying
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » Oh, and there's Exy, just in time
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » but it's okay for you and feather to be assholes but no one else?
dread pirate jimbo « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » And? Have I ever denied being an asshole?
Excalibur « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » Jimbo and his wife spend so much time constructing this narrative of their lives as eternal victims.
Nrblex « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:47 pm » wait wait wait, who said something to binks? I'm scrolling back trying to catch up here
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:46 pm » so if you're calling me an asshole, you must realize that you're married to an asshole too
Myrnalene « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:46 pm » unlike you and lou who will never admit it, right?
Sleeps w/Butterflies « Tue Aug 18, 2009 9:46 pm » But Jimbo what you don't get is that YOUR WIFE DOES THE SAME SHIT AND MORE OF IT

Actually the line from Exy about "You guys both act like dicks all the time to everyone for no reason but it's all just a crazy coincidence that no one wants you around." is bullshit. It is not true and really is just the 3 of you.

It seems like you won't be happy unless you drive Jimbo and feather from chat. What the hell is wrong with the three of you?

I am one of many that like both of them. I also usually like the 3 of you. Please stop this shit, this vendetta.

Jimbo if you see this, I don't feel much can be done about it though if you start shit in chat with the "heathers", they will gang up and dish out far more than you give. All of you need to keep it to the T'Dome, but better yet, can you all please make a peace?

You know, whether or not you want to acknowledge it, they have both send so many nasty, bitchy things to the three of us, and deliberately started so many fights -- as Jimbo clearly did tonight; there's no doubt in the chat logs about that -- that frankly no one else would be surprised by this except those two and you. In particular, how many nasty comments about her looks is Sleeps supposed to just ignore, since that's the issue that set this whole thing off? Does Featherlou not have ANY responsibility to not be a complete bitch to Sleeps just because Sleeps is pretty? I mean, Myrna and Sleeps both asked her to stop pretty nicely quite some time back. How much shit from her are we supposed to tolerate?

I'm sure you would have no trouble sitting back and tolerating Featherlou's low-key "ha ha only serious" insults but I don't think it's incumbent upon everyone else to pretend she isn't saying what she has been saying time after time, week after week.

There's not going to be any making peace if those two are not willing to stop doing this shit. If they deliberately come into chat to start fights like Jimbo did tonight, if they keep trying to derail threads with their fucking nonsense like Jimbo has been doing lately, and if they keep sitting around and insulting Sleeps, I'm not going to "make peace" with them. If they want to stop that shit, then great. I don't think they will, since neither one will budge for a fucking second from playing the victim. But it's not me, Myrna, and Sleeps's responsibility to sit back and accept this shit with a smile any longer. We've done that long enough.

No HOC, it's that someone who in constantly insulting to people shouldn't be surprised when someone insults them. Period. It isn't just jokes about me. Look at how bad she made binks feel. She says hateful things and apparently no one is allowed to question that.

Never recover? Nobody said that and you're just trying to exaggerate and be foolish. I don't think *anyone* here is NEVER GOING TO RECOVER (ohhhhhh the humanity) from someone online insulting them. Let's be real. So why is it such a terrible thing that I called her fat? Seriously? Jimbo has been on a RANT for two days because I dared to call his wife fat.

So, insult me all you want with the dumb blonde stereotype horseshit but it boils down to someone who dishes it out all the time about a variety of subjects but can't take it even once.

Jimbo was going off at me the most out of all three of us and yet it wasn't me that was saying that nobody liked them and questioned why they are still here. So please spare the dramatics.

Aside from someone like HOC who's just trying to stir shit up (and kudos, dude, you're doing well :)), only you would characterize "not accepting her insults with enough aplomb" as bullying her, Jim. And whatever was said earlier, Jimbo clearly came into chat with the specific intention of starting a fight, so I'd allow some time to work out the crazy justification you're going to need to cook up to blame all of that on me, Myrna, and Sleeps.

Right, whereas I spend fifteen minutes bagging on Canadian politics and featherlou reports me and I get in trouble. Hates says something about Canada somewhere and featherlou reports him and he gets in trouble.

I guess the take-home message is that the people who whine enough to the modes get to have the modes punish the folks they dislike.

This is such a clear example of the bizarre way reality is constructed here in the SDMB zone. Myrna, Sleeps, and me get a (fair) reputation for being a little bitchy -- fine. But then suddenly whenever there's any kind of conflict, it's automatically construed to be our fault. Sure, featherlou may have been a bitch for weeks and weeks but hey, "the Heathers" are the troublemakers. Sure, J Word clearly insults Myrnalene -- something no one but What Exit? and featherlou disputed -- and Myrnalene needs to shut up about it. Because, hey, she's one of "the Heathers" and of course they're the problem.

It's funny how very, very precisely you have to set the bounds of the period you want to look at for that to work. You can't just look at the beginning of the big fight -- that started with Jimbo, very clearly, so you have to look earlier. But then, this conflict has been going on for days -- you can't look too early, though, because then Jimbo and Featherlou actually have to end up taking some responsibility for the things they say. So you choose one arbitrary point and dismiss everything before it as, what, pure irrelevant history? And if you pretend it all started there, then yeah, me, Myrna, and Sleeps are just awful, awful bitches. So that must be the correct way to look at it.

Actually, in my OP, I wasn't talking about the larger fight at all. I was simply commenting on the incredibly, incredibly stupid "nobody likes you" argument. First because it's something high-school kids think up. And second, because it's, well, simply not even remotely true when it comes to featherlou and Jimbo.

oh god the irony is killing me! this is all you EVER do, you find some insult to you or one of your cunts and that justifies ten pages of shittiness from you and your cunt squad

i hope that dumbo realizes how nice it is to have you locked away and keeps you in 101 forever. they wont cuz their pussies but it would be great

Well, it's kind of been a pattern over the last few weeks that a lot of people -- me, for one, and Sleeps, and Binks, just off the top of my head -- who were perfectly copacetic with featherlou and jimbo have all been pretty much driven into disliking them. I'm sure it's not everyone (although none of these throngs of people you seem to think like them so much ever seem to want to come to their defense). But they've done a pretty good job of making several people who were fine with them until recently totally not fine with them anymore. Isn't that pattern something worth noticing?

It's just not really very easy to buy the argument that they're, you know, popular, as much as you and Jim seem to want to believe it. I mean, why are their only compatriots Jim -- the guy who doesn't dislike anyone -- and nonny?

You're dismissing a population of the board that would rather just not get into it whenever you guys turn up in the middle of these things.

Oh, and for the record, I 100% agree with What Exit? for doling out the punishment, although I personally think it was a little too mild -- we should all have been sent to 101 for at least a day. Also, I would like to publicly apologize to everyone on Domebo for not getting Exy sent there as well.

A valid point. I don't know any of the human beings behind the avatars, so I don't think about whether I like someone or not. I tend to work on whether I enjoy reading someone's posts and leave it at that.

I realise that might look like the same thing and I'm probably not explaining it very well, but there it is.

Unfortunately, I think this is true - look at this quote from Jim upthread

Quote:

Jimbo if you see this, I don't feel much can be done about it though if you start shit in chat with the "heathers", they will gang up and dish out far more than you give.

and from the other thread

Quote:

I don't like doing it but all three of you are causing too much grief in chat.

However, no one says a word when Count Blucher posts pics of the WWotW and says they are Sleeps and accuses her of anti-semitism. Why? Because he's not one of the "Heathers" so he doesn't even get a warning.

I'm another one who's lack of participation in the to-do was nothing to do with favouring either side.

I never felt DPJ or Featherlou were unable to defend themselves from their critics, so I kept my nose out.

See? It's a tactical error to try to deal with your problems like a grown-up. If you whine to the modes every time someone looks at you funny like featherlou, then you can establish the reputation of victim that will get the modes to err in your favor.

I saw the Historian's thread first. It was reported by more than one method by more than one poster. I cannot give further details I believe.

I had a feeling one of the Heathers had reported me to get me tossed into 101 -- looks like I was probably right. Too bad it backfired and a couple of them got sent to the box as well. I love how they keep going to the "everyone keeps reporting us" card when they're obviously also doing it.
