Do you have certain types of customers, that you'd expect are book store specific, that you really hate dealing with? (Like, for example, the political book junkies but all they buy is Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity books and they have lots of opinions about them. I would hate those people)
Have you ever had a pet fish? If so, tell me about your last fish.
I did have a pet fish. He was a beta, and I don't even remember what I called him, so we'll call him Fluffy. Well, I would feed Fluffy and clean his bowl. I'd put him in a red plastic cup when I was "housekeeping" for him. Well, my late uncle's girlfriend decided she was going to get her smoke on in my father's house (while he was deployed overseas), but that she was going to use Fluffy's temporary housing for an ash tray.
:C That is so sad.
She was an evil, fish killing woman.
How long is a piece of Marsilia?
Why did this happen? Why?
How many strands of hair are on your head (if you don't have enough time to count them, a guess will suffice).
Do you say 'autumn' or 'fall': as in, 'see him fall down the stairs', or 'see him autumn down the stairs'.
"Fall" is such a useful word! I use it for everything!
I like the word 'placenta'. What word tickles your fancy (apart from 'fall') and why?
Favorite kind of ice cream or ice cream treat?
How would you describe your gams?
What is your stance on guava? Additionally, what is your stance on guano?
Could you ever see the hidden objects in those visual puzzles that were all the rage 8-10 years ago?
You know, neither could I. Or rather, I think I saw the object, but the effect was so crappy I always assumed I wasn't doing it right. Do you think we're closer now?
How many posts are you at now?
PS, my tardo questions are equally directed at you, seeing as you wanna poastpad...
ETA: Well, not equally, coz it's Marsilia's thread, but your answers might give her something to feed off...?
This here is post number 301! It doesn't unlock anything special, but it makes me feel less lame.
MORE QUESTIONS! NOTHING OFF LIMITS UNLESS I'M STUPID ABOUT IT!*
*Even if I'm stupid about something, I can waste a post by pleading stupidity. :)
What music genres are you into?
Spitz, I think it's important that we make Marsilia feel important in her own thread. I have my own postpad thread, it's a place I go to when I'm drunk and on Mello. I don't want to step into a thread with a specific subject and just start posting vague, barely connected thoughts and then claim that they are conducive to the subject at hand just because I say they are and question *your* logic in questioning mine.
Marsilia, how do you feel about this?
Since we now have a special relationship in this thread; what are you wearing to bed tonight?
Red pajamas with black Scottie dogs and white dots on the pants and one lone Scottie dog with a heart around it on the top. I got them for Christmas several years ago, and my father's decided to keep it downright chilly in the house.
We shall blame Michelle Branch (on whom I have had a crush for years) for the country I enjoy. I have her Wreckers albums (both studio and live) and her Wreckers partner Jessica Harp's solo album. I also have a smattering of Dolly, Reba, and the Dixie Chicks/Court Yard Hounds. And, of course, I have Johnny Cash.
As for the classical, I really like Vivaldi, and I have some Brahms. I grew up singing, and my school choir director taught a high school humanities class which opened a door I didn't even know was closed, musically speaking.
I also enjoy the blues from time to time, and blame that on Eric Clapton and my dad.

Marsilia, what do you think about double-posts?
Would a triple-post throw you for a loop?
Marsilia - where does the username come from
Marsilia - did you expect this many questions?
A while back, a few chatters started changing their usernames to names from different vampire lit (I think Myrna and Exy had been making fun of Twilight, or something). I asked Zuul to change my username from 0ut0fMyHead to Marsilia, the vampire queen of the Tri-Cities in the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs. When everyone else changed their names back, I just kept mine.
How much of her stuff have you read? She was always one of my favorites but mainly for the older three books in that great series.
Do you like Frozen Snicker Bars? Or Baby Ruths for that matter?
Its a Sailboat.
(Do you know what movie that is from?)
Spoiler (mouseover to read):
If so are you a Kevin Smith fan?
How do you feel about decency and honour?
or paladins?
Do you follow any sports teams?
I actually reread the Murray series a couple of years ago. One of my coworkers has still not let me live down the day she came back to the break room and found me sobbing over Wrinkle.
I prefer Snickers, but chocolate in general is proof that God loves us.
Not off the top of my head, but I'm not passionate enough to call myself a fan.
By virtue of growing up near Lexington, KY, I am regularly made aware of the quality of the University of Kentucky's basketball team's season.
By virtue of living near New Orleans, LA, I am aware that the New Orleans Saints are the embodiment of all that is right with America, or something....
I don't really follow sports, but I don't actively avoid talk of them, or anything.
Do you know what a pangolin is?

Chicken wings: Breaded or plain?
What's the most interesting critter you've seen in person?
That's actually tough for me to answer, since I think seeing anything you don't expect to see is interesting, even if it's a pretty mundane critter. My sister and I got right up in the middle of some dolphins playing off the coast of a beach we were visiting once, and I've seen deer on the edge of the highway down here (which is way rarer than when Zuul sees deer on the side of the road. Speaking of Z, she doesn't realize how dangerous it was to let me drive up there, since I was pretty fascinated by all the wildlife that was right freaking there.
I saw a crane of some sort while I was walking the mutt earlier. Have you seen one of them? Bonus points if it was in flight.
Well, interesting doesn't have to be rare. It merely needs to focus your attention or imagination. Seeing a possum living in the urban sprawl of NYC area shocked me, simply because I'd assumed that the feral cats had long since hunted the prehistoric monsters to oblivion.
Where would most like to visit?

Tell me what your ideal taco would have on it. Be detailed.
Also: po'boy. Shrimp or catfish?
Can you explain the Fermi Paradox in less than 100 words? That wikipedia article is way too long and is giving me a headache.
My ideal taco would have chicken and steak (so I wouldn't have to choose) prepared however they do it at Los Tres Amigos (or El Satillo). There would be just a sprinkling of lettuce and finely chopped tomato, then there would be onions. I love onions on my tacos. There would be yellow cheese and white cheese, and a little bit of that ranchero sauce they use at Taco Bell. As a side item, I would want your sister's chips and salsa, as I maintain that she makes the best salsa I have ever had the pleasure of dipping a chip into.

Tell Panda to ask you a question for us, then. :D
Should I ask you a question for them, then?
Sorry, Panther, I meant Marsilia's sister, who is also called Panda.
ETA: If you have a question for our star, indulge yourself! (You can even blame it on me.)

What is the compliment you've received that you most cherish?
There are a couple, actually. A girl at work made it a point to tell me how much she appreciated that she could talk to me and really know that I was listening to what she had to say. Also, my best friend tells me frequently that I am a wonderful friend (and, considering her awesomeness, I take this as the highest compliment). I've also had a couple of people (one of whom is my mom) tell me that I'll be a great mother if I ever manage to have a baby.
What is your mother's cousin's former college roommate's father's barber's SSN?
Umm, the british version is so much better because Alan Tudyk spends like the whole film naked. Mmm, alan tudyk. Uh, what were we talking about?
Have you ever seen Firefly?
*falls over*
He's only Wash, the best character from firefly ever and totally cute.
Okay. Show us whom you'd call cute! Educate us on your standards. :)
How hard would you hit someone who posted a Justin Beiber pic for you?
Honestly I wouldn't be able to pick him out of a line up if my life depended on it. I was just thinking of someone who's name has been plastered all over enough that I'm actually aware of it - which usually means that their popularity is about to fade, big time. :)
I really, really, really love that Someone to Love song he has.

Ah. Good. Question withdrawn. Now then, if teflon is nonstick, how do they get it to stick to the pan? My current theory involves luck and black magic.

If you were a burlesque performer, what three words could describe your performance?
What sort of public performance would you like to do?
Not dancing! Though, I've sang in front of people (choir soloist, talent shows) and done theater before. For a while, I really thought that was what I wanted to do with my life, but then I realized I needed money in the mean time, and "money in the mean time" doesn't leave time or finances for a performance career.
If you spent $10 at a candy store right now, what would you buy?
Jelly Bellies? Now we're talking!
Could you list those favorite flavors?
Strawberry Shortcake, Peach, I think I like their Raspberry....It's been ages since I've had any. There used to be a place in downtown Lexington that I only got to go two or three times a year, and I always spent way too much on Jelly Bellies.
