I do. Olón, a little village on Ecuador's Pacific coast, sort of halfway between the big tourist beaches and the little fishing villages. (At least it was in 1994; it's probably gotten more touristy since then.)

Yes. Mount Baldy at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico stands at 12,441 feet, and I think that's the highest I've ever been. (One of our Scouts got altitude sickness, but recovered).

True, in fact boxed wine is our staple. It really doesn't have to be crap like Franzia or Almaden anymore; Bota Box Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Box Merlot and Shiraz, and Big House Red (which is one of our favorite bottled wines anyway) are all great. The awesome thing about them is that, at $15-20 a box (the equivalent of four bottles of wine), they're a steal. The even better thing is that one box can stay fresh for a month, easily, meaning you can have a glass of wine with dinner, or even just use a splash in your pasta sauce, without the commitment of "well, we corked it now, so we have to finish it tonight."
