Right now I kinda want Rangin to get up-close-and-personal with that stun gun. What the heck, why is he suddenly Hsu's BFF? Isn't he the guy who just told Kylah "not now, my dear, we must think of group unity, be as one with the universe, at least until the case is solved"?
Been there, done that. At least the helpless for a while part.
Then again, Kylah just decided to ignore everyone's feelings and scan whether they like it or not. Because group unity means I don't trust you until I have scanned you.

Graham certainly lacks the tact of a turnip, but he's not totally unthinking here... Hsu probably isn't suicidally loyal to Hardin, so would it make sense for him to take an incriminating weapon with him? Would he be confident it would work on everybody? And if it did, then what the hell does he do--there's still a whole ship in orbit and he's just 100% outed himself and upped the ante...
But then I shouldn't write this here, I should save it for a patient lecture Graham can give Kylah later... :lol::lol:

Then why did Graham ask for a scan at all, particularly of everyone? And why in public? Hsu would bring something like that along and utilize it for the same reason Hardin did--if he had no other choice. I doubt it was Hardin's best option either, but apparently for whatever reason, he felt it was better than doing nothing. And for all we know, ahem, there's some kind of cloaked ship out there.Quote:

On the latter his intincts are more about what if it panned out... sneaky scan = obviously inadmissable, caught up in declared room scan w/o objecting or leaving, maybe would be admitted as evidence....rather than legal niceties ;)

You know, you could have just asked Delaney to scan the room in general to make sure it was secure and let him use some common sense to expand the range to include other devices.
A generic scan across the room is one thing. Having him individually scan each person for something, as if you don't trust any of them, is completely different. :smash:

I was at an event with the president of Trinidad and Tobago some year ago (long story) and these two guys flanked her as she walked through the room to the podium and you could feel in the air (a) these are presidential bodyguards and (b) do NOT fuck with these guys... Was trying to capture that.
