Possibly well intentioned, this became a muddle of navel gazing and under achievement:

Musically, I always thought this song was more interesting than the atrocious faux-gospel-pop of "We Are The World" (it was written by Lionel Ritchie and Michael Jackson, and it shows), but lyrically, it's awful, and a lot of the singers are no bueno.
