Stuff at Giraffe Board

Hey guys, please hear me out. Just stop for a second and hear me out.

There was some drama in chat the other night with a few of us and 7 from the Giraffe Board.

I feel like this whole thing started because 7 was trying to do me a favor. A FAVOR. Not even a "hey 7, can you do me a favor?" kind of favor. He offered to help me. Out of the blue. Just to be nice. Without being asked. He didn't have to do that and I, for one, truly appreciate it.

Then he comes into chat and before I even really got a chance to discuss with him why he was there, all hell broke loose. I felt *terrible* because of it. Terrible. I apologized to 7 and felt that he'd probably be happier if it just went away. It seemed to.

Exy wanted to apologize and do it there where people who might have been offended by his words would see it so he posted it over at the Giraffe Board. It, for various reasons, has turned into more drama and seems to be causing some anger and board issues.

Although I post at the Giraffe Board and do like it there, this isn't about the problems this stuff is causing THEM. I am asking you guys as a favor to me to please, please stop about this issue. Obviously you can do whatever you like and many of you feel like you are responding to negativity you're seeing and I'm sorry to ask you but please stop. Each time someone comments and it grows it makes me feel worse and worse. I feel responsible for this and it has honestly upset me for the last couple of days.

No, I am not posting this because he's helping me with my little bitchy board. If he yanked the plug on it right now I wouldn't blame him for a millisecond. I'm posting this because it is upsetting to me.

So please. Pretty please with sugar on top.... let's let this issue drop. We got a LOT of good advice for the board from some people over at the Raffe. Yes, some people just came in to take their jabs and have their fun. Fine. WhutJim and Elmwood took their good advice/help and look at the results. This is a nice board and maybe if we just posted what interests us (besides dramaz!) it might grow.

So, yeah. Tl;dr, I know.

I fully endorse this message.

I miss all the good stuff.

Hey, this is the first post I've read from SWB on the new board. And I gotta say, love the new avatar.

I responded one last time to a long post that was personally directed to me. And now I'm done.

This would be for the best. We had/have a good relation with our sibling board, I would like to keep it. I also don't want to read through that thread.
