I swear, you cannot make this stuff up. The New York Times is reporting on two Pakistani brothers who are making whips, ball gags, corsets and other stuff for the European fetish market.

The items are made by women in full bukah who have no idea what it is they are making. The brothers operate deeply under cover. They do not sell in Pakistan. One said, "If our mother found out she would kill us." One of them goes to the annula US SIn City trade show in Las Vegas.
I really admire the measures they've taken to protect their identities, such as having their names, faces and descriptions of where they operate printed on the Internet. Because it's not like Pakistan is paranoid about the Internet anyway and does things like keep records of all email going in and out of the country for a minimum of three months.
Oh wait.
Well, maybe they figure the people who would be most upset by how they earn their livelihood are the ones least likely to keep an eye on the Internet.
I sure hope they're right, or their lives are going to suck really bad, very soon.
It certainly seemed highly irresponsible to print the story at all. Bringing it up here, less so.
It really is an interesting story, though. Thanks for sharing it, Paul! It just boggles my mind because such a big deal is made in the article about how much potential danger they're in by doing this, and yet pictures and names are used in the article.
