It was hard choosing the songs because I wanted to go with songs everyone knew, not his best. The battle of Prince songs from his entire playlist would be a completely different battle. Plus, I wanted to match up the heavy-hitters so people would have to agonize for five minutes. :lol:

I'm hoist on my own petard - I listened to all four songs yesterday, and I love all of them. One thing became abundantly clear to me - Prince is extremely rhythm-driven. And "When Doves Cry" is possibly the most fascinating pop song ever.
