Ok, this is between me and QED. To all the shitstains who want to paint me with a simple brush, fuck off. This isn't about you.

QED, I owe you an apology. You have obviously done some very good things helping set up this message board, and I applaud that. I teased and taunted you and that was wrong. I was acting like an ass and I apologise.

I sincerely hope that you will take this mea culpa at face value and continue to give back to this community. Don't stop posting here just because of me.

And if you all want to know why I'm posting this, it's because of the attitude of CSRP. Simply put, his leadership is enough.

Leander, I think this was a good post. There's no reason you or anyone has to act like everything's lovey dovey and we're all friends. To me, your apology sounds sincere since it doesn't go over the top and claim things that are simply unlikely.

I'm not QED, but thank you for offering this nonetheless.

I can accept your apology, if you'll explain the part I bolded. As written, it sounds like a condition. Perhaps you meant something else, but I can't take this to mean anything other than you're only apologizing because you believe CRSP's attitude and his good leadership qualities (a point I don't dispute, BTW). The problem I have with that is that either you believe you owe me an apology or you don't. If you do, nothing else is of consequence; simply retract that last sentence and we can move on. If you don't, I'd rather you simply withdraw your apology altogether and, again, we can move on.

After some time, I think the apology is bullshit. Just a lull between the passive and the aggressive. I've already gotten one PM from a good contributor who's leaving because of Leander. That's Leander's goal: to drive away as many good people as he can before our leadership finds the courage of its convictions. He will push all the buttons he can until people call for his banning, and then he will back off and apologize. There will be at least one 'Hey, give him a chance' moron each time. He will do this repeatedly. Our leaders are choosing a worthless agitator and troll over good contributors. This will be the downfall of the board.
