Oh, dude. You really don't want to go there. Über-ugly, all the way around. The Dope lost a bunch of good people during that clusterfuck. Somebody can probably PM you the details, but I'd just as soon not bring up that debacle to pollute this board.
It should be noted that the poster who called himself Stage Manager here was not the same person as the SD poster.
I think some of the claims made on the Giraffe Boards here might have been behind it.

I'm not sure why you think this. As far as I can tell the MO is the same. SM made a total nuisance of himself after his banning at the Dope by popping up all over the place and moaning about how badly he'd been treated and being an all around attention whore. He's also burned one sock at the Dope before this (Feydeau). There was also the time he engaged in an edit war over at Wikipedia and kept trying to insert himself and his complaints about the board into the article about the SDMB.Quote:

I can't even remember what information that Tuba revealed over at LJ-since we already knew that he was on the SO list-didn't we?
She posted his full name, and I believe some information from his sex offender registry entry. I can't recall whether or not she linked to it, but I remember it was easy to find his entry from what she posted. This was illegal if she repeated the offense and not just his name and where he was recorded, unless she's a licensed private investigator, as you are not allowed to report information from the registries to third parties, even when the info is publically available.Quote:

Now I remember-I think she also said that he supposedly contacted some underage dopers or something like that.
