Jill suggested a theme of "Improve your mind, improve your life, improve your world" which I think sounds great. So what could you write?
I could easily do a series of educational articles about kimono (what is it, how to wear, etc.). I've also got some half-decent poetry.
Tripler and I could probably get together and write a piece about explosives.
I could talk about hail. Hail, Hail, Hail.
Or insurance companies and how to deal with them when you are making a claim.
Or being a contractor.
Or volleyball.
Or wakeboarding.
Roofs.
My life is a ball of suck, methinks.
I've got a very good mime routine!
I could do a couple of articles on things e.g. debt management, books, some reviews - usually games and books. Just don't ask me to draw anything.
I only know about things that most people find obscure and boring: Javanese gamelan and competitiveness in developing countries. How to cook with unusual Southeast Asian ingredients is probably about as close as I can come to being interesting. (Laotian riverweed, anyone?)
I have an article I wrote recently about sand but it's probably too boring.
I suppose I could do more articles along the line of this one, my only contribution to the Giraffe Boards so far, though I don't know how useful or good it really is.

I'm a med tech in a hospital - I could tell you what happens between the time someone draws your blood and the time a doctor gets a lab result. Or what happens after you pee in a cup. Or what the hospital does to analyze everything else than can come out of a person.
But then, the "ask the med tech" threads never went far on the other boards... people aren't that interested, I guess.
