A large majority of otherwise tough, cynical Dopers were generally known to dissolve into jello when faced with kitties.
But a few posters did express disdain for this weakness, and supposedly we're harder edged around here.
So, what is it to be, Domers (or whatever we call ourselves)? Do we still squee at kitties?
I vote yes.
Oops, just found a locked thread on more or less the same subject. Hmm.
Aw-righty. Further reading (yes, despite evidence to the contrary, when I put my mind to it I'm actually fairly adept at that skill) reveals that:
1) Yes, someone already posted a cute kitty thread, so we must like cute kitties.
2) The only reason the thread was locked was that it failed to take advantage of domebo features that should be exercised in another forum, namely the ability to post images.
3) Buckeyes!
4) About 10 posts in to the new board, and I have already established myself as the village idiot.
I walk in shame.
I squee with the best of them, and melt at the sight of a kitteh.
Stop walking in shame. Stand there and take it.
A world without little softies is a world not fit to post about. Kittens rule!
