Jimmy Carter has Cancer

Jimmy Carter has released a statement saying his liver cancer has spread elsewhere. Although I am not a doctor, this is very bad news indeed.

I was in the army when he gave us the biggest pay raise in a generation. My Dad worked at Camp David during the summit held up there. I suspect that like Truman, history will look back on him with a very favorable light.

Seems like history is already taking a pretty favourable view of him, though maybe more for what he's been as an ex-president than for his term.

God, I hate most anyone having cancer.
