I hate to vote against the Durannies, cause I like that song and I dig them, but I the Garbage song is more classic old-school James-Bondy to me.

Duran Duran's theme song was the only good thing about that utter stinker of a movie. Roger Moore needed to retire about three films earlier, but he was so geriatric looking in this one that it was just icky watching him put the moves on all the women in the show. Shudder.

Although Goldfinger is possibly the most iconic bond theme, I just prefer Nobody does it better
As for the second one, The World is Not Enough still sounds more like a classic than View to a Kill, much as I enjoy D2.

Kind of a tough choice for #1, but I think it's a better song in addition to being a good Bond theme. As for #2, I watched A View to a Kill recently and the song isn't as good as I remember it in my head.

As for worst on this list - "Never Say Never Again" must win it. Someone recut the opening to remove it and it's immeasurably better. (They also made use of a very good song that didn't make it far in this contest).

and we have a tie between "Goldfinger" and "Nobody Does it Better".

I have a strong aversion to Carly Simon that no one on this board seems to share.
