I was talking to an online friend in Moscow 2 weeks ago, asking if Moscow's a dangerous city. She laughed. Maybe it's a coping mechanism. Many violent crimes pertetrated in Moscow (particularly high profile ones) go unpunished. I hope that trend doesn't continue in this instance.
It seems that is was a lone female suicide bomber which caused the devestation.
Has anyone claimed any responsibility for the attack?
Not that I've heard. The suicide bomber obviously can't be brought to justice, but I hope there's a proper investigation this time.
I hadn't been following this story. Any new information?
