OK, when chate flatlines, we sometimes get into this thing where one person posts a random (usually) 4-letter word, the the next poster changes one letter (and one letter only) to create a new word. This thread might sink like a stone, but eh.

(BTW, when we play this in the car, our rule is that you can add 1 letter, drop 1 letter, or change 1 letter. So these would each be acceptable: tap, ape, taupe, taper, tapes...but here, the word remains 4 letters long at all times?)

Up to spitz, but I think that makes it too easy (kind of like saying your haiku could have 3-8 syllables per line). Usually the rule is add one, subtract one, OR change one.Quote:
