'Allergy' to colour?
An exGF and I formulated this theory that some people might be 'allergic' to certain colours. Ours was orange. It would affect my mood really badly, as if I were psychologically allergic to it or something. You guys have this with certain colours? Heard of any research or something?

I don't know about allergies, but I've heard often that colors affect moods. Decorating a whole room in a certain color can affect how people feel in that room. And dressing in certain colors can affect how people feel about themselves and how others interact with them based on the colors they're wearing.
A lot depends on the shade of the color also. A room with a really bright orange might be off-putting to many, but in a very subtle shade of orange, it might be more pleasing.
Here's another article describing the yin and yang of the mood of colors.
Some colors also look better on certain skin types and hair colors than others. I've been to classes where I've gotten that analyzed for myself.
And while I was googling that other site, I noticed this other article that says that people can express their level of depression or happiness on a color scale.
I don't care for orange either. I much prefer soothing blues and greens.

Wear loose clothes that will not put pressure on the skin and try not to scratch affected areas to avoid further skin damages. This will help decrease the chance of getting bigger rashes.

A friend of mine is 'allergic' to the color red. Not an actual allergy, but she gets migraines when around too much of it.

I wonder what you'd call it? Obviously not a real allergy, but what is it? I don't mean just disliking a colour, I mean a colour making people physically ill. There must be research/a name on/for this, surely.
