Tell us one of those crazy family stories that gets re-told on holidays.
My parents always tended to have bickering arguments around the holidays (Merry Christmas!) cause my mom didn't have much family, so it was always my dad's family coming over for dinner or whatnot, and he was about as helpful with the preparations as the average 3-year-old, so mom would start getting stressed out and nutty, and before you know it...blammo! Argument ensues.
One Easter, I guess my dad heard, "this is YOUR family I'm cooking for" one too many times, and he picked up the ham, opened up the sliding glass door and chucked it into the back yard.
Luckily, it hadn't been cooked yet, so it could be salvaged, but that story still makes for great holiday entertainment.
Anyone got a good one?
