This was a tough one. Africa for the win!!!!

1a) a-ha - Take On Me Love it though I feel it is a guilty pleasure. Especially loved the video

2a) Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime I'm a big fan of the Talking Heads.

3a) Asia - Heat of the Moment I do like Prog Rock though this is only OK.

4) Yuck, no vote.

5a) Tear for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Sweet, reminds me of Real Genius and I have had the CD for a long time.

6a) Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Want to Have Fun I like Cyndi and hate Culture Club so this is a no brainer. When it was a huge hit, it was played to death and so I was sick of it but 27 years later I like listening to it occasionally.

7a) Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes It's OK and I prefer Deathtounge's Let's Run Over Lionel Richie with a Tank to anything by Richie.

8b) Toto - Africa Blah, slightly better of two songs I don't like or dislike.

I love Duran Duran, but that is one of my favorite Talking Heads songs, so. At least 7 was easy, I fucking hate that Bette Davis Eyes song.
