I always hated Cola flavor. Ugh, it was just...deeply repulsive. Cherry was what I'd go for. When they had more flavors, I'd make a suicide, layering the different fruity flavors together with nary a drop of Cola. Cherry went on the very bottom and then one little dollop on the very top (for the cherry on top, of course).
Cherry all the way. The cola always tasted like icy, flat soda to me. I can make that shit at home.
Yeah. The only cola flavored thing I like is...cola.
I like frozen cokes. Almost as much as I like fake blue flavoring.
I never had Slurpees as a kid. Slush Puppies FTW! (and the best flavor was blue)
My brother does service work for Icee machines and I'll let you in on a little secret: They found that if they use RC Cola syrup for the "Coke" Icees people find the taste to be far more appealing, so if you get a "Coke" Icee and it tastes like crap, its probably because the place is using genuine Coca-Cola syrup rather than the RC Cola syrup.
This podcast has some info on the history of Slurpees and similar drinks.
