Does anyone else on the board play videogames and is anyone else looking forward to E3?
We should have Demos of PS3 Move, Xbox 360 Natal (or whatever codename they decide to use for it), or possibly a slim version as well, a new Nintendo handheld and plenty of game announcements.
Anyone interested?

...and the first major annoucement is the XBox 360 Kinect.
A camera/motion detector with assorted games like the Wii, but without requiring the controller.
Shame Sony already released the Eyetoy Kinetic about 5 years ago. Of course, they will be releasing PS3 Move shortly as well.

I don't have much interest in the Kinect project, maybe I will after they've got a few blockbuster games I have to have for it. Was happy to see a new trailer for Fallout: New Vegas. So far no new information on Fable 3, which is one of my favorite RPG's ever. I mean who doesn't like adventuring with your pet dog.

So, the Microsoft conference has been and gone with no real shocks or surprises. Lots of Kinect and a new slim X360 which will be quiet for once.
Fable III wiil be out on 26th October.
In other news, apparently Sony will be releasing a Best of Compilation of Sly Cooper with all three games upscaled like GoW. One of the best platform series ever. That makes me very happy. :D

Fallout 3 New Vegas
I can't wait to crack open some beers, light up a joint and get back into the post-nuclear world of Fallout. Charlie the abused five foot red headed pyscopath shall ride again.

So we've got:
A new interface for the Xbox 360 that makes you look even more moronic than playing the Wii and completely rips off all of the dullest Wii games.
A whole bunch of game sequels.
Fallout 3 looks sweet, though.

Yah, I can honestly say I don't give one shit about motion capture / motion control gaming at this moment. But it opens up gaming to a more casual family market (according to their marketing i guess) which is probably making all the executives wet their pants.
Fable 3
Kind of a lackluster preview, but this is the common mans fun ass RPG. You start as a wee lad or lass and spend the rest of the game growing up. You also get a faithful dog to share your travels. Now that I think about it, most successful RPG's these days have pets. Fallout 3 has a dog. Fable 3 has a dog. The Last Guardian has a griffin (I'm pretty sure this isn't even out yet but the trailer is very cool).
