I liked the one that Jon Stewart hosted. I liked some of the others. I can't say I hate them though I have been somewhat scarred ever since "Shitspear in Lust" won over "Saving Private Ryan". I love comedies, but well if a comedy is going to win the Oscar for best picture, it should be a great comedy, not a basically unfunny one.
I haven't watched the Oscars in years. Not since 2006, when Three 6 Mafia won an Oscar for "Hard Out Here for a Pimp."
Because, frankly, nothing could top that.
I am teh indifferent to the Oscars. Unless it is Oscar The Grouch or Oscar Wilde.

I'm thisclose to giving up on the Oscars. If Tarentino doesn't get an award for Inglorious Basterds, this will be the last year I watch.
I don't even watch the ceremony. I just watch the red carpet for the clothes and then go back to my usual Sunday night stuff.
I've even given up on the red carpet. The schmoozing of celebrities just makes me want to :barf:. I do like the clothes, though, so I catch up with that on the internet the next day. :)Quote:
