pepperlandgirl, if you can get me a 600x80 jpg version of the main banner, I can put it in place by overwriting the existing header images.

A few years ago I modified a template for Joomla's ancestor Mambo. (nothing fancy, just a new color scheme, some new graphics, things like that) I had to edit the code by hand but all in all it was relatively straightforward.

As long as it works roughly along the same lines as it did back in '05 I could do it again. I am useless as a graphics or interface designer but if you have specific objectives, then I should be able get it done. I could make a modified version the template and one of you could deploy it. (And I wouldn't need any special privileges for that.)

There's another stumbling block. I had my lovely assistant Zuul poke around at it and we discovered even with super admin status, we still can't change the style. At all. There's a work around, but it's a bit beyond us. Apparently, this is a common problem with Joomla.

I have an image to post on the front page. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to do so. I've asked CRSP to make me an administrator for the front page, which will give me the access I need to change the banner. He hasn't yet, but when he does, it's at the top of my list of things to do.

Logo on the front page

The content on the front page is developing very well. Unfortunately it is still using the default Joomla! theme and that makes it look very unfinished.
I don't think we need a complete Domebo theme. Just changing the logo/header would make a big difference.

For example just putting the "bald guy" image in there shouldn't be that much work but it would look less generic.
