Default The news stories of 2010?

This was the year that was. A few remainders of what has happened in 2010

February: Winter Olympics held in Vancouver

March: Healthcare reform passed in America

    April:
The Deepwater OilRig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico
Eyjafjallajokull erupted in Iceland bringing air traffic in Europe to a halt.

May: Greece gets a €110 billion bailout package

June: The World cup kicks off in South Africa

July: Blizzard backed down over its attempts to get all World of Warcraft players to use their real names

August: Monsoon flooding in Pakistan caused one of the worst natural disasters

September:Afghanistan held it's first parliamentary election since the Afghanistan War started

October: 33 miners trapped in a Chile mine are returned to the surface

November: Wikileaks releases more than 250,00 diplomatic cables from the USA

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill was the biggest to stick out in my mind, as it is the worst environmental disaster the US has had up until this point.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

Yeah, the two big ones for me are the oil spill and the Haitian disaster. Both very sad and scary.
