    Default Andrea Zuckerman turns 50.

    FIFTY.

I mean, sure, she was no spring chicken when she played a teenager on Beverly Hills 90210. But still. FIFTY.

Well, she was almost thirty when she was playing a sixteen year old. But still, geez.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

    Wow.

Of course, now all I can think of is that Family Guy bit: "this used to be orange groves as far as the eye could see!"

    Those are some big glasses.
I don't think so, therefore I'm probably not.

If you feel old now, try this: when Gabriel Carteris was playing sixteen year old Andrea Suckerman I was one.

You know what's sad? I went and copy and pasted the actress's name because I knew I wouldn't remember it for my post, but then I went and mispelled the character's name.

I thought you had caught a few episodes of 90210 and were getting a bit of a dig in.

Hey, Peeta, let's talk some more about stuff we don't remember or remember only vaguely. Like 8 tracks. Or 78s.

Ahh, 78s. Those were giant, black CDs. They were called 78s on account of them being 78 inches wide. Each one could only play a single song and the person listening to it would have to continuously turn a crank to make the 78 spin. If they cranked too quickly, the music sounded like chipmunks. Too slow and it sounded like Barry White. They were popularly used from 1890 - 1990, though hipsters continue to use them today, operating under the belief that digital recordings are inferior to the sweet, sweet sounds of rubbing a needle on plastic.

I think we still have a stack of them in the backroom next to the butter churn and the loom.

There really doesn't seem to be any other explanation, does there?

She's one of the most prolific serial killers of all time and she uses her incredible "detective" skills in order to frame someone else every last time. She's so good, half the time she convinces the person she's framing that they did it!

    evil evil woman

Speaking of Angela Lansbury, has anyone else here ever seen The Court Jester? Very funny movie and in it she plays the damsel in distress while Mrs. Banks plays the hero's love interest. Very strange for those of us who grew up with Lansbury as Mrs. Potts and Mary Poppins.

Yes, but I didn't see that movie until I was like 16. So I spent the whole movie wondering if this was before or after the other guy learned to go fly kites.

I don't want locomotiary substitution or remote intransitory convolution. Only one precise solution is the key. Substitutiary locomotion it must be!
