I tend to use Netflix as a Wayback Machine, to catch up with things I missed when they were new, or to revisit long-ago pleasures. Thus, my current list:

Having just sent back There Will Be Blood, I await the first installment of Firefly, the sci-fi series so many people seem to be gaga over. Now I'll finally find out what all the brouhaha's about. If I like it, I'll watch the entire series in order.

When that wraps up, the next in line are Purple Rain, Hairspray, Becket, and Sleeper, followed by the first installment of Xena, Warrior Princess. Again, if I like it, I'll watch at least some of the following episodes.

Then Blade, Blade Runner: The Final Cut, and Dune.

Then the BBC miniseries Smiley's People, then Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.

Then Bowling For Columbine, Genghis Blues, The Neverending Story, The Dark Crystal, and Poltergeist.

Then..... Well, that's enough to go on with for now.
