The buzz is that Bret is about 50/50 on whether or not to become engaged to his long-time girlfriend. They've been together on and off for 16 years, and have two kids together.
Forgive me, but I kinda laughed. After 16 years, and two kids, Wouldn't you already have the marriage question figured out? I mean, how much more do you have to know about a person to be able to make a decision one way or another? And what's the point now, anyway? I mean, I have nothing against living together forever or whatnot, but if it's working this long, why mess with it? And if it ain't...Bret, honey, a word of advice...marriage ain't gonna fix it.
